⚽️ Manchester Derby: City v United
It’s the blockbuster matchup of the week and the one we’ve all been waiting for as City (1.63) plays host to United (5.1) on Sunday afternoon. City have been continuing their streak of poor form this month, with a loss to Liverpool and a disappointing draw to Palace. On top of that, they fell to Juventus in their Champions League clash a few days back.
But are United ready to take advantage of this lackluster City squad? They too have struggled, having lost their last two Premier League outings, against Nottingham and Arsenal. They’ve struggled to score all year, netting just 19 goals through 15 matches. Neither side has much going on here, so we’re loving the Under 2.5 goals (2.84) on this one.
🏈 Bills @ Lions (-2.5)
The Bills head to Detroit to take on the NFC-leading Lions. Buffalo is coming off their first loss in eight games, falling 44-42 to the Rams. Prior to that, the Bills were rolling having beaten the 49ers and the Chiefs. With the division essentially in hand, Buffalo has their eyes set on the top spot in the AFC.
Detroit is riding a franchise-record, eleven game win streak. They currently sit atop the conference, but have no room to spare as the Vikings are just one game back in the NFC North. This match up could be a SuperBowl preview and we think it’ll be an absolute shootout. Give us the home team Lions to cover!
🏀 Spurs (-3.5) @ Blazers
Wemby and the Spurs head out west to take on Portland on Friday night. The Spurs, currently at 12-12, are outperforming many’s expectations so far. Wemby is leading that charge averaging 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists per game for the Spurs. The Blazers on the other hand, are trending in the wrong direction. Having lost four in a row, they are now just 8-16 on the year, sitting at 13th place in the West.
These mid-winter games can fly under the radar for some, but not for emerging super stars. We see a big triple-double night from Wemby coming in: take the Spurs to cover (-3.5) with ease.
