Blockbusters: Chiefs-Bills, LeBron v Wemby, & more!
🏈 #7 Tennessee @ #12 Georgia (-9.5)
Bring out the popcorn when these two teams play! Tennessee heads to Athens to take on their former SEC East rival, Georgia. The Vols are looking to thrust themselves into pole position for a spot in the SEC Championship game, having just one conference loss this year. A win on Saturday all but assures them a chance at the SEC title in early December.
The Bulldogs though are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive. After coming into the season with national championship expectations, Georgia now has two conference losses, after getting whomped by Ole Miss last week. We don’t see any three-loss team having enough on their resume to make the playoffs, so it’s officially do or die for Georgia football.
We think Georgia has the championship pedigree needed to bounce back and keep their playoff hopes alive: take Georgia (-9.5) to cover at home!

🏈 Chiefs @ Bills (-2.5)
In a likely preview of the AFC Championship game, the Chiefs and Bills (-2.5) face off in a blockbuster on Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs are looking to remain perfect on the year, and are riding a 15 game win streak. Though even at 9-0 this year, they’ve looked out of sync and very beatable at times.
The Bills have won their last five as well, albeit against lesser quality teams. Josh Allen is starting to click with his receivers during this stretch though, making them look like the Bills we’ve grown accustomed to seeing. Although Buffalo is a tough place to play, we love Mahomes as an underdog, always.
In Mahomes we trust. Take Chiefs and the points!
🏀 Lakers (-3.5) @ Spurs
The Lakers (1.69) are in San Antonio (2.36) tonight as the current and future faces of the league square off in an NBA Cup game. The Spurs are coming off a win over the Wizards, in which Wemby went off for a career high 50 points.
The Lakers on the other hand, have won three in a row, led by three straight triple doubles from 39 year old Lebron James. San Antonio is 3-1 against the spread as home underdogs and LA is 0-2 as road favorites. However, we’re going to zag on this one - Lakers will cover the spread (-3.5) on the road tonight.
