Can United salvage their season?
⚽️ Aston Villa v Manchester United
United (3.25) head to Villa Park for a Premiere League clash against Aston Villa (2.24). Villa is coming off a big Champions League win vs Bayern Munich, and are currently sitting 5th in the table. They’ve been defeated just once in Premiere League action this season.
United on the other hand is just 2-1-3 this year, are coming off a 0-3 loss vs Tottenham, and are desperate for a signature win to propel this season forward for them. When big clubs’ backs are against the wall, they tend to answer. Give us United to squeak past Villa this weekend.

🏈 Cowboys @ Steelers
It’s a rematch of SuperBowl XXX this weekend as Dallas heads to Pittsburgh as a slight underdog. The Cowboys have had an up & down season so far, currently sitting at .500, and coming off an uninspiring win against the NY Giants. Nothing on offense seems to be working for Dak, and their defense has been suspect at best.
The Steelers started the year 3-0, before last weeks loss at Indy. Justin Fields has finally come alive, but we’re not sure he’s capable of keeping this level of play up as the season rolls along.
Dallas isn’t a good football team, but they tend to be a great road underdog. Take Dallas (+2.5) on Sunday Night Football.
⚾️ Royals @ Yankees
We’re down to eight teams in the MLB playoffs as the divisional series kick off Saturday. The New York Mets have been the talk of the town with their late game heroics, but the New York Yankees are clearly the team to beat in the American League.
The Yanks face the Royals, who are coming off a commanding 2-0 sweep against the Baltimore Orioles. The Yanks are well rested, and have their ace, Garret Cole on the mound.
Cole, who started the season injured, is now trending back towards his normal self. He’s only let up four hits and one run in his last 15+ innings. Michael Wacha is on the mound for the Royals. Wacha started the season 1-4 but has climbed back to post a very respectable 13-8 record and 3.35 ERA.
The Royals were able to hold the Orioles to only one run in two games, sneaking out a 1-0 and 2-1 wins. Don’t expect these Yankee bats to roll over like that. We like the Yankees to cover the RL in this ALDS opening game.
