⚽️ Tottenham v Liverpool
League-leading Liverpool head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Despite sitting top of the table, Liverpool has had a disappointing showing the last two times out on the pitch for Premiere League action, with draws to both Fulham and Newcastle. Though they’ve built a comfortable lead as they’re still up two points on second place Chelsea, with a match in hand.
Spurs on the other hand are sitting at 10th in the table. Spurs are a hot and cold team this season. Last time out on the pitch, they won with a dominating 5-0 performance vs Southampton. However, they were held winless in their previous four matches prior. You never really know what you’re going to get out of this Spurs iteration, but we’re not convinced even a good Spurs showing is enough to top Liverpool. Take Liverpool to win at 1.76.
🏈 Eagles (-3.5) @ Commanders
It’s a battle at the top of the NFC East this week as the conference-leading Eagles head to Landover to take on Washington. The Eagles are the team to beat out in the NFC, having not lost a game since week 4 back in September. They’re currently tied with both the Lions and Vikings at 12-2 for the best record in the conference. Every game left on their schedule is a must win, if they want that much coveted first round bye.
Washington is riding a two game win streak, with victories over lackluster Tennessee and New Orleans. Though they have dropped their previous three games prior to that. Jayden Daniels is going to have to play the role of Superman again if this Washington team wants a real shot of knocking off the Eagles. And we think he has it in him - take the Commanders on the moneyline (2.72)!
🥊 Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk
With a weekend jam packed with sports, this blockbuster boxing match might be the most anticipated event we have. Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk face-off in Saudi Arabia with the WBA, WBC and WBO titles on the line.
Usyk pulled away with a split decision victory over Fury back in May to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 2000. He’ll look for a repeat performance tomorrow, while Fury looks to bounce back and recapture his title as greatest heavyweight boxer alive.
While Fury is the more entertaining of the two, Usyk is too skilled. Give us Oleksandr Usyk to win, as well as the fight going the distance.
