⚽️ Liverpool v Manchester United
Top of table Liverpool welcome rival Man United to Anfield on Sunday afternoon. Liverpool’s run of dominance continues after winning their last four matches in all competitions, including recent thrashings of both West Ham & Tottenham. They are running away with the league, up six points on second place Arsenal, with a match in hand.
United is in the complete opposite form of Liverpool these past few weeks. They’ve lost their last three Premiere League matches, and have been held scoreless in all three. United have scored just 21 goals this season, compared to Liverpool’s 45.
Liverpool won the first clash of the year with a 3-0 victory at Old Trafford. We expect a similar result this time around: take Liverpool to win & cover 1.5 goals.
🏈 Vikings @ Lions (-3)
Minnesota & Detroit face off in the last game of the NFL regular season to determine the NFC’s top seed in the playoffs. The 14-2 Vikings head to the 14-2 Lions with everything on the line. The winner takes home the NFC North title, locks in the NFC top seed, a first round bye, and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The loser drops all the way to the #5 seed and will have to play their opening round playoff game on the road.
This is the first time in NFL history that teams with 14-wins each face each other in the regular season. Although the Lions were everyone’s darling SuperBowl pick in the first half of the season, they’ve been plagued by injuries as of late. Minnesota however is peaking at the right time. This is the year of Sam Darnold and we don’t plan on betting against that: give us Minnesota (2.40) on the moneyline to pull away with the upset.
🏀 Florida @ Kentucky
Undefeated Florida visits rival Kentucky on Saturday in the college basketball game of the week. Florida enters as one of three remaining undefeated teams in college hoops, led by stud guard Walter Clayton Jr., who holds the keys to this high-powered offense.
Florida’s strength of schedule isn’t quite as strong as Kentucky’s, who’s already got wins over Duke and Gonzaga. Although Kentucky enters tomorrow’s matchup as favorites, they’ve been a little shaky lately with a lackluster performance against Ohio State.
Florida is 10-3 against the spread this year but this will be the first time they enter as underdogs. Kentucky is just too talented and too well coached. Give us the Wildcats to cover this spread.
