⚽️ Manchester United v Newcastle
ManU (2.74) play host to Newcastle (2.56) on Monday night at Old Trafford, as United look to pull off the upset over a club in the top five of the table.
United is currently sitting at an embarrassing 14th in the table, with a record of just 6-4-8. They’ve lost their last three times out on the pitch, including two shoutout losses against Wolves & Bournemouth. Their last win came in the Manchester Derby two weeks ago, which at this point feels like two years ago.
Newcastle though has been rolling and are winners of four straight, having given up just one goal in those four matches. They’re fighting with Arsenal for a top four spot, but are four points back as it stands.
Newcastle’s form right now is just too much for United to contain - take Newcastle (2.56) to come away with three points.
🏈 Falcons @ Commanders (-4.5)
Two NFC playoff hopefuls face off on Sunday Night Football in Landover, MD, led by young and dynamic QBs, Jayden Daniels and Michael Penix Jr.
Washington is coming off a big comeback upset against the Eagles last week, and have now won three in a row. They are hanging on to the 7th seed now, with the Seahawks though just one game back. The Commanders can lock up a playoff spot with a win.
Atlanta is currently sitting in the 4th seed, as they own the tiebreaker over Tampa. But both teams have the same record (8-7), making the Falcon’s last two games of the year a must-win. Penix looked great last week for a rookie in their 34-7 romp over the Giants. We see the momentum brewing in the ATL. Give us the Falcons +4.5!
🏀 Knicks (-6.5) @ Magic
The Knicks and Magic face off in a battle between two playoff-bound Eastern Conference teams.
The Knicks, who are currently on a five game win streak, took over the 3rd spot in the Eastern Conference standings over the Magic last week. The Magic, who are without star player Paolo Banchero, are holding on tight to the 4th spot as we approach the halfway mark of the season.
The Magic enter tonight’s game with the third best defensive rating. They’ll need a big night on that end of the court if they plan to stop the Knicks’ high-powered offense. Expect a close game, but the Knicks offense will be too much for the banged up Magic to handle. Take the Knicks to cover!
