The Republic of Ireland and England square off in a Group B2 clash of the Nations League in Dublin on Saturday. All eyes will be on England with Lee Carsley at the helm. Carsley was appointed interim head coach of England last month following Gareth Southgate’s departure. Opposite Carsley will be another new appointee in Heimir Hallgrímsson who took over the Ireland role earlier this summer as well.
As each manager feels out their play and pace of their new squad, we expect a slow start to this match. A scoreless draw wouldn’t shock us here; take the Under 2.5 goals.

🏈 Packers vs Eagles
The NFL Season has officially kicked off and this weekend features the league’s first ever game in South America, as the Packers (2.18) and Eagles (1.81) meet in Sao Paulo. The Packers, led by QB Jordan Love, are many pundits’ dark horse to come out of the NFC this year. With last year’s late season success, they have momentum on their side.
The Eagles, the designated “home team” in this match up, have been vocal about the grueling travel involved with getting to Brazil, causing quite a bit of distractions leading up the game. Pair that with a head coach in Sirianni who has the pressure of being on the hot seat already this season, and that might be too much overcome in week 1. Take the Pack at +2.5.
🎾 US Open
The US Open Semifinals are set to take place today, as two Americans, Frances Tiafoe (3.45) and Taylor Fritz (1.39) are looking to make their first major final.
The two friends have played seven times on tour, with Fritz winning the last six meetings, and four of them coming in straight sets. Fritz has had a tough road to the semifinals, having to go through Berrettini, Ruud and Zverev to reach this point. He is playing the best tennis of his career, and now is his time to compete for a major on his home turf. Give us Fritz in four sets.
